When I first listened to Good Kid M.A.A.D City, my first thought was that Kendrick needs to make some kind of short film for that album, and after watching his newest video for “Alright” off To Pimp A Butterfly, I feel the exact same way. What makes Kendrick so unique is unlike 90% of rappers, almost everything he does is something we have not seen before, and this video is no exception. This video takes us through multiple cinematic shots, and even reveals a possible new song (between 2:10-2:36) that I hope will be released very soon.
